All orders confirmed by Benamôr will be delivered at the address that you specified for delivery when placing your order.
After your purchase, you’ll receive the corresponding confirmation. We will send an e-mail containing all the details of your delivery as well as your respective tracking number as soon as the order is expedited, so that you can verify the progress of your package directly on the carrier’s website. If your payment method of choice happens to be ATM (“Multibanco Reference”, available only in Portugal), your order will be expedited as soon as we receive the corresponding payment.
Benamôr ships its products only to the list of countries stated above. We guarantee the shipment of your order until it arrives at the respective destination country, whilst exempting ourselves of any responsibility regarding eventual customs fees and product entry restrictions in force on some destinations. The client has to contact local import authorities in order to verify the necessary additional procedures.
Shipping Methods and Costs
The Client shall bear all expenses related to the shipment of orders placed on this Online Store.
Our products are delivered by different shipping companies based on the denistation. DHL for the European Union and the United Kingdom; and Fedex for Extracommunitary countries such as USA, Canada, Switzerland and Norway. Moreover, we always offer the possibility to reclaim your products, free of charge, on our Príncipe Real store located at Rua da Escola Politécnica 8, 1250-102, Lisboa, Portugal.
Delivery costs are calculated based on the weight and destination of the order. We kindly ask you to verify the value of our tariffs on the checkout page.
Benamôr offers free Standard shipping on all orders over 20€ within Portugal (except for the Azores and Madeira Islands) and 70€ for the European Union. Shipping is free for all other countries over 100€. Shipping does not include any tax or duty charges that your country may charge (please see the Tax & Duty charges section for details).
Tax & duty charges
All orders are shipped from Lisbon, Portugal.
Please note that international orders may be subject to additional tax & duties. For delivery in any non-EU (European Union) country we highly recommend that you check whether local tax or duties may be applied to your order before making any purchases from our website. If there are additional charges to be made, Fedex will contact you for payment before or upon delivery.
If you refuse to pay tax & duties applied to your order, Fedex will attempt to return your order to Benamôr 1925. If successful, a refund will be processed within 14 days of receipt however the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount. Please note some countries may not allow your order to be returned for failure to pay tax & duty in which case a refund is not guaranteed.
Late or Missing Packages
Our Website provides estimated delivery time details, according to the estimated shipment and expedition times, which depend on the transporter and destination of the order and may vary in high traffic seasons.
Benamôr only expedites products on business days. That being stated, we will not count weekends or public holidays while providing the estimated delivery date.
In case the order does not reach the Client within the indicated delivery dates, the Client can file a complaint by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, which Sociedade de Perfumarias Nally, Lda will follow, in compliance with the necessary inquiry procedures.
After the conclusion of the process, the Client will be notified about the product’s destination, eventual reshipment or reimbursement of the amount paid for the order.
Shipping outside the European Union
All our orders are shipped from Portugal and will need to go through customs for countries outside the European Union. Fedex delivers within 2 working days, but, although rare, there is a possibility that customs may retain the parcel up to 2 weeks.
In case anything goes wrong with the shipment process, Sociedade de Perfumarias Nally, Lda shall not be considered responsible, as the transporter is deemed liable for any damages, under any circumstance.
It is recommended for the Client to verify the order’s condition before signing the transporter’s delivery receipt. Nonetheless, in case you confirm that your order is incomplete or if you find any damaged products, we suggest that you contact our store immediately, through the e-mail address email@example.com.
